Oak Tree Park in Tacoma

Tacoma School of the Arts (SOTA) sophomore students began a long-term project to inventory the City of Tacoma's Oak Tree Park in an effort to identify the best places to put trails, signs, where to remove non-native species, and develop materials for the nearby schools and community. The students received NatureMapping training as part of the intensive 3-week introduction to learn about wildlife and habitat.
