Metadata (Data about data or how the map was made)

Found in northeast Washington, the northeast Cascades, the Okanogan Valley, and in a portion of the Columbia Basin along waterways. Occurs in moist meadows, marshes, swamps and bogs, along streams, ponds, and small lakes (including alkaline lakes, when bordered by moist vegetation). Found up to timberline, but not above.

Core zones were all forested and steppe zones within its range. Water/wetlands and irrigated fields are good habitat; in steppe zones, hardwood and mixed forest (indicators of water) are good habitat. In forested zones, even contingently suitable habitat required small wetlands.
