Metadata (Data about data or how the map was made)

Northern Sea Lions can be found in various locations throughout Puget Sound and on the coast. In Puget Sound, they frequent areas that provide a food source, such as commercial salmon net pens. They are considered an unwelcome predator of the dwindling salmon stock, even navigating the fish ladder that separates Puget Sound from Lake Washington. On the coast they use the rocky shoreline areas as haulouts.
