National Data Collection Database with Individual State Sequences:
The NatureTracker data collection software (sequence) is a national table
that is being constructed one state at a time. Users select what state
they are in and the appropriate county and species lists will appear.
Otherwise, the NatureTracker screens are identical for each state.
State sequences are developed for a fee (contact Karen Dvornich
vicon@uw.edu). Once the state sequence is complete, NatureTracker users
are notified through our mailing list and can download the updated
sequence from the website.
States currently on the NatureTracker software:
- Alaska
- Arkansas
- Califormia
- Iowa
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- New York
- Oregon
- Pennsylvania
- Texas
- Virginia
- Washington

New Features
CyberTracker addes new features to their software based on requests and funding from users. CyberTracker lists the features and
includes them in the ongoing upgrades to their software. NatureTracker users can download the upgrades without any harm to existing
data.
- The "New Sightings" feature was funded by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies as part of their North American Conservation
Strategy. This feature is great for people monitoring the same lat/long's or for those who don't want to purchase a handheld devices.
Users enter data directly into their PC's and the screens look the same as on a handheld - icon driven and easy to use.
