NatureMapping with East Palo Alto Charter School

hand with snail Fourth and fifth grade students from the East Palo Alto Charter School conducted predator studies and habitat restoration projects in 2005-2005. The students studied a salt marsh habitat in the South San Francisco Bay that is managed by the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

Don Edwards San Francisco Bay Wildlife Refuge

A workshop was held in Feb, 2004 for NGO's (non-government organizations), environmental educators, and field biologists to introduce them to NatureMapping and Nature Tracker software.

Sierra Foothill Conservancy

The Sierra Foothill Conservancy hosted a NatureMapping workshop April, 2006 designed to "Train the Trainers". Workshop trainers collected data using Nature Tracker to show the participants how the software can be used to collect and map data for their different reserves and projects. A follow-up workshop in April, 2007 will provide more hands-on with Nature Tracker and to design projects that fit the needs of the participants' organizations.
