    Adopt-a-Farmer Project

The Adopt-a-Farmer Project began in 1999 by Diane Petersen's 4th grade and Cathy Nelson's 2nd grade classes. It has continued each year with 4th graders adopting local farmers who report Short-horned Lizard (Phrynosoma douglassi) sightings to their students.

The website has been updated with new graphs and references to new projects.
