Little River BoyRiparian HabitatLittle River Boy is on his way through the riparian habitat. He passes a beaver making her dam. Still farther on he spots a mallard duck and his wife and children. All of a sudden a raccoon came, pawed at him, picked him up and started toward the forest. While he was carried in to the raccoon's house, Little River Boy saw many quaking aspen in their beautiful quaking mood. Little River Boy went past many more quaking aspen, but the most beautiful was the one with the fluttering leaves. ![]()
Once the raccoon finally got home he took Little River Boy to his family. They thought that he was wood. The raccoon set out
again to throw the piece of wood back because it wasn't appetizing. On he flows down the river.
