Students at the University of Washington Computer Sciences and Engineering's eScience Institute are helping develop a NatureMapping
app for android phones using the Open Data Kit (ODK) developed at the Institute.
- A prototype has been developed for bioblitzes that want to submit data to NatureMapping, and will be tested at the
Pt. Defiance Park Bioblitz.
- Another app challenges university students to compete among themselves to do something that hasn't be done
before...inventory the University of Washington campus.
