Key Characteristics:

• Bright green underwater plant, sometimes with fragrant white (three-petaled) floating flowers.
• Leaves arranged in whorls of four to six.
• Leaves greater than one-half inch long and less than one-quarter inch wide.
• No tubers attached to the roots in sediment.
