The Adventures Begin

The snow blanketed the ground outside, but a raging inferno of anger and frustration was about to erupt in the small Orchard Prairie School classroom. For a class art project, the students had been trying to build a wooden canoe with a small boy in it, a nature explorer would be exact.

"You carved the binoculars crooked!" exclaimed Joey, a sixth grader.

"Well, I'm trying as hard as I can, I'm not an expert carver!" Chuck said, obviously annoyed, he was the only kid that was attempting to make this project work. It seemed like all of his classmates were offering critism instead of help and advice.
